Acdsee Serial Number
By default, ACDSee identifies Photo Discs by their serial numbers. This is the most reliable setting to use when working with Photo Discs, particularly if you are importing or converting Photo Discs from previous versions of ACDSee.
However, if you are working with, or planning to work with, multi-session discs, the serial number may be regenerated or changed each time you change the contents of a disc. Therefore, the volume label is the required method of identification for multi-session Photo Discs.
Depending on the method used to identify Photo Discs, ACDSee may encounter a Photo Disc that it does not recognize. This is most common when you are using the serial number method to identify Photo Discs and you insert a multi-session disc. ACDSee may not recognize the disc, as serial numbers are likely to change when updating a multi-session disc.
The command line you extracted from log, is it right? I mean for most silent installers you dont need to provide quotations for SERIAL_NUMBER. and since u have extracted MSI, why not install it and capture the changes using Install Tailor or Installshield Tuner? and since u also mentioned you are being prompted for serial key on initial launch , try capturing changes when serial key is punched in using picturetaker. I m pretty sure , it will be inside an ini file or a registry or a file would be getting created.
ACDSee Pro was released on 9 January 2006 aimed at professional photographers. ACD Systems decided to separate its core release, ACDSee Photo Manager, into two separate products; ACDSee Photo Manager, aimed at amateur photography enthusiasts, and ACDSee Pro which would target Professionals by adding a new package of feature sets. ACDSee Pro's development team is based out of Victoria, British Columbia and was originally led by Jon McEwan, and more recently by Nels Anvik, who oversaw ACDSee Pro 2.5 through to Pro 5. The original ACDSee software was created by David Hooper, who also added a number of features to ACDSee Pro, such as Lighting correction (formerly known as Shadows and Highlights) and Develop Mode (in version 2.0). ACDSee Pro is written in C++, with the interface built using MFC.

I happened upon this site while doing a search on the web. After reading most of the reviews on ACDSee PowerPack 7, I couldn't help but leave a few comments. I am a professional photographer, this how I make my living. The software I use to organize the photos on my computer is as important to me as my editors. I have used many, very expensive commercial programs the past few years, but this new version of ACDsee has them all beat. I have never seen so many features integrated into one program. It is also remarkably fast. There is NOT one other program on the market with all these features. I swear I have tried practically all of them. Some are terrible, and some are great, but none of them have all the features of ACDSee 7. There is always at least one important feature missing out of the other organizers that degrades their usefulness. Be sure you understand that this version of ACDSee is a photo organizer, that's it's main strength. If your just after a good simple viewer, go get Irfanview. If you want a simple organizer, then go get Picasa. Both programs are freeware. But if you are serious about photography and organizing your shots, then this is the program to use.I don't know about the problems some of you are having with the programing dialing your modem when you start it up. I have broadband, and after the program is loaded, it does not run any spy-ware, or ad-ware, or anything else.I told it not to auto-update when I installed it, and that was the end of that. I don't like programs that auto connect to a server or website, but you might as well get use to it. Unless your using a warez version, or an illegal serial number, there is nothing to worry about. If you are using an illegal version, then you deserve what you get.
Welcome to the forum Kjell. Canon's own DPP4 is a free download from their support website (you'll need to enter your camera's serial number), with the best lens aberration and distortion corrections, it will batch process, but it's very slow and has very basic editing controls. DxO PhotoLab has very good lens corrections (and not just for Canon cameras and lenses), excellent noise reduction because it's done while de-Bayering. The DeepPrime noise reduction is very processor intensive as a result. More editing and perspective control capacity, but doesn't have quite the flexibility of an editor that uses layers like Affinity or the GIMP. PhotoLab 6 was released this week with an introductory discount, but you get a month's unrestricted free trial and there's often a better Black Friday discountat the end of November. 2ff7e9595c
